School starts tomorrow.

It's kind of sad that the holidays are gone. :(

School starts tomorrow, but hopefully, not the lessons. Haha. :P I'm still in the lazy mood. And anyway, there's no new timetable so far. *applauds* Lol. We'll FINALLY be standing behind in the quadrangle for assembly. But I don't want to get a classroom in the science block!! (that's what our senior class got in 2007. *crosses fingers*)

This is actually my FIRST day of REAL holidays, but sadly it's my last as well. Sigh. But at least I get to sleep 9 whole hours straight (I broke record. haha.) And I didn't touched a single thing that's related to school (well, other than my finding my collar pin and touching my school bag and uniform. I still can't find my tie!!! *cries*)

I believe that everyone has mixed feelings about the start of school as well. :P I can't wait for school to start because that would mean meeting everyone in class again (Any news of joey???). It's like a reunion after a long break of 2 months. How nice that feels. But I don't want school to start because of the lectures and tutorials and CCAs.

Hmm, and before I forget, I have to ask Zhi Hua for the $5 from last year. (And he is suddenly talking to me now. Wow, is he psychic or what.)

Jane says:

Jane says:
haha, I feel like a tax collector, but nvm, I may not even be the treasurer this year alrd. I want to just clear up whatever that is left undone last year.
zzzzzzzzzzzh says:

Jane says:

zzzzzzzzzzzh says:

zzzzzzzzzzzh says:

Jane says:

zzzzzzzzzzzh says:

Actually what's the use of detentions? To help people find time for doing homework or something? Haha.

I realised that I haven't been writing much poems after leaving sec school. JC life just sucks all my creative juices away. T_T But since I have some inspiration now, I should start writing some, before my hectic life continues at daybreak tomorrow. :D

Hours crawl by, but time flies teleports.
Silver hands go spinning by,
Tick-tock rhythm, time does fly.
Before you know it in the blink of an eye,
You're that much closer to the time you die.

There never seems to be enough time,
To right the wrongs, undo the crimes,
Never seems to be enough time,
To love, to hate, we're always late.

Wake up calls, alarms, ringing bells,
No time to ever be ourselves,
Rushing around, we got no direction,
We're slipping away, losing our traction.

New Year is here and opportunities are bright,
Let's slow down to appreciate the light,
Knocked hard into senses by the cry of the chimes,
Sad but true, really, 'Where got time?'
***
Uh, when school starts, there's no time for everything. Here's another poem that describes more about my current state of emotion:

8 more hours.
Don't be an owl.
Goodbye holidays,
Hello schooldays.

Say hi to long days and late nights,
Rushing homework in the twilight.
Welcome mass PE with a wide forced smile,
Push-ups, sit-ups and running miles.

After lessons, get drained out by CCAs,
Before officially calling it a day.
Hurricanes and tornados of PTM sessions,
Spinning lives into bits and pieces.

Everything is going to be so boring,
so routine, so challenging, so tiring.
Think of the homework, tests and quizzes,
Gnawing away at our youth like diseases.

Shudders and shivers down my spine,
Waiting to face doom, queued up in a line.
The year-end hurdle doesn't seem inviting,
But still, everyone would be non-stop trying.

Even before I realised it,
Bang! The battle has started.
Come on everyone, put on your armours,
Fight the war without a single tremor.

I'm going to be super busy when school reopens, so I may not be updating often! :)

Argh!!! Where's my TIE?!?!?! >_<
