Well Wishes :)
Oh well, after the haste and rush yesterday and this morning, it's finally time for me to relax now. :) (though I just wish that the world would do things less last-minute, because it's not nice having to settle a thousand and one things suddenly right after a brain-draining GP exam, just when you thought that you could heave a sigh of great relief!) Ok, I think I may not be making much sense here. But yea, you get the idea.
I'll now take the time to wish the following people all the very best in their future careers/upcoming tests or performances:
1) Ms Cheng Siau Yian, ex-Mathematics teacher of NUS High School. I just heard that she's leaving. Hope that she'll be doing well in her future career. Really thanked her a lot because I think she'd inspired me a lot in Maths, well, at least in Year 3 and 4. (now also. haha, though I really miss her teaching!!)
2) Mrs Genevieve Hoe, GP teacher of CJC. She's leaving and I think all her students are :( :( :( (super sad face). Putting aside the emo part, I thank her too, for at least helping me recover a little of my long-lost interest in the language. I thank her for being such a dedicated and effective teacher, and also CCA teacher. Hope that she'll be doing really well in MOE (and surpass her discouraging _______ teacher who caused her much exasperation in her JC years- but that's besides the point. haha.)
3) Mr Chiang Y. Y. - my super cool conductor/ violin teacher. All the best for your upcoming concert and more! :)
4) Sze Min and Suyi. Best of luck for your SATs exam in June! :D Will pray for you. (Hey Sze Min, isn't this your THIRD time sitting for it already or something?!?!?!)
5) Me Myself and I (ok, I sound so egocentric. Lol. I don't mean to. :P ) For piano accompaniment on Monday, SMO on Wednesday, and my upcoming Physics PRACTICAL on Thursday (damn freaky - I hope it won't be THAT difficult like those !@#$%#@ practicals we did in Year 4 thanks to LKY). And also, the concert on Saturday (I hope I won't do anything malu-ating. -_- ). And er.. there's Guzheng concert or something on 7/8 June (??!?!?!?!). Oh well, they didn't inform me so I shall pretend that I don't know. Haha.
-----------------------
Just heard from Cheryl this morning that mrs hoe was totally dismayed upon hearing that I was taking Physics. lol. I recognised her phobia, and I think I could relate to her (especially in year 4 - with an 'overly' qualified NIE-UNtrained teacher who was apparently exploring the same field of study as us). I think she'd have probably thought that I was some freak or something. Hahaha. Absolutely not. Far from it. From here you can actually see how important a teacher is to students, not only in the subject itself, but also their morale towards the particular subject.
On another note, I went to CSC this morning. It's indeed to my surprise that NUS FoS is in fact so near Buona Vista. Ok, I think I'm super blur. I thought I'd need 40 minutes to reach, but apparently the bus journey took only 4 minutes. (!!!) Haha. It's Saturday, and it wasn't even peak period so the bus just skipped all the stops until the MRT station. Haha. I still message Madeline not to wait for me because I'll be LATE. In the end I was 20 minutes EARLY, and since I didn't bring anything constructive with me, I just stoned and stared into space until it's time to get into the seminar room. tsk.
Let's talk about yesterday. GP exam in the morning. And a whole lot of freaking (argh) messed-up stuff to deal with which I shan't elaborate here. (I'm still wondering what's the freaking problem with governmental organisations and whether 'last-minute'-ness is the only pathetic idiosyncratic culture of the seemingly efficient society in Singapore today.)
Sigh dun ask mi abt gp cos i tink i screeeeweed it up freeeking baadly lyk e speeling errars in dis sentense. Yea. A thousand and one sad faces. :( :( :( I still don't know why I did that question for Paper 1, which I shot myself rather painfully in the foot. Oh well, considering that I didn't have much content in my head, and I'm isn't in the best state to sit for exams (stupid gastric), my brain just had to zoom into doing that question. Just had to. :( :(
And paper 2 is equally monstrous, not to mention, the passages are all about monsters (pun intended), Loch Ness, Minotaurs and more (you name it, they have it). And I think my results will be equally monstrous (not that I'm unfamiliar with those figures barely scraping 45) and disastrous. But it's just so disappointing, like after studying for about 24 hours for it while BEARING WITH THE STUPID INFLUX OF GASTRIC JUICES WHICH IS SADLY BEYOND YOUR CONTROL (and all you could do was just to cringe in pain). Yea. Probably if I hadn't put in so much effort, I wouldn't be so upset. T_T
Oh well, I want half of Darren's hippocampus. -_-
PS. I barely understand Normal Distribution.. er let alone Ewen's Distribution.

I think the hardest question of the test was:
Question: 'I'd rather be a musician than a mechanic.'
My answer: ?
...
...
(it'll be interesting to be a mechanic that attempts to fix all parts of a violin without using any adhesive though - then I'll win the Nobel Prize. LOL.)
